Its been a while

So.... its been a while since I have written on this here blog but its alright because blogs don't go away! If you are wondering where I have been and if not its totally cool ( i still love you), i will gladly tell you! Since my last post (click here to read)  alot has happened in my life. I got engaged to the love of my life! Let me tell you something ladies if you want a GOOD man, please wait and dont try to make things happen yourself it will get you nowhere. I waited a loooong time and it was worth it because I get to spend the rest of my life with the man who prays for me, cares for me, loves me, laughs at my weird jokes and sayings, accepts me for who i am and has a love for the things of God (which is most important). Thinking about planning fun things with my future hubby and having a life with him is the most beautiful thing I could ask for.  Im so excited to see where God is going to take our lives and our ministry! Its a rewarding feeling to know that I am done waiting for "The One". My wedding is less than 3 months away and I couldn't be more excited. I thank God everyday for blessing me with such a fantastic family and a wonderful future husband.

Snow Day

The weather has been crazy here in St Louis but I am enjoying my time staying cozy. We had a snow day today and let me tell you I was so excited to have some extra time off. I know for a fact that God listened to my prayers because he is that awesome!  Here are 5 things that I like to do on a snow day.

1. Sleep in: there is something totally awesome about snuggling back into your covers after you have waken up to get ready for work...its so relaxing.

2. Devotion- When you work a 9-5 job it seems like their is not enough time to really put time aside to have the time you want for devotion but God honors our efforts and time with him. So on a snow day or day off the time is there to spend it with the Lord.

3. Drink your favorite cup of coffee & eat a good breakfast {I had a yummy cheese omelette}  - in my household we brew nothing but starbucks {seriously} so not only is it nice and strong but it saves us time and money to not have to go out in this weather for a cup of coffee. If you want to learn how to make a yummy omelette click here.

4. Exercise- I LOVE Pilates... it feels so refreshing to do exercises at your own leisure, you feel so healthy. You can look up Pilates exercises on pinterest  or youtube.

5. Laundry- Ok so ill be honest, I don't like doing laundry {Lord help me when I get married hehe} but I had to do it today because praise God I have the time to do it. The good thing is I don't have to rush so that saved me.

Share what you do on a snow day! I would love to hear from you!
GOD BLESS!

Be Adventorous...

For those who don't know, I have the most wonderful boyfriend in the world. His name is Joshua and he is pretty amazing. He is Godly, he cares for me, encourages me and Loves me and he's handsome too!! Im in love with him and I love who he is.  God has really blessed me  and I cant wait to see where God is going to take our lives together.

We decided 2  Saturdays ago to spend a whole day together {thank you Jazzy & Jiyra for coming with us} eating yummy food, drinking coffee, being touristy in our city {St Louis} and walking on a frozen lake at Forest Park. There is nothing like spending time with the ones you love.  Here are some pics of our day. Enjoy!

EMBRACE......2014

Hey guys I know its been a while since I have been posting.... almost 3 months to be exact. A lot has been going on in my life. A lot of change, reality and blessings. Yes! that special word change can be a crazy one as well as reality, but it doesn't matter who we are we all have a reality. As 2014 was approaching, I got a little nervous. Not because I was scared about what's going to happen but I felt it in the depths of my soul that great things are about to break.... about to happen. I told God and myself that I'm embracing this year. Embracing what God is giving and has given me already. With open arms I fully EMBRACE 2014. What are you going to embrace this year?

-Jeremiah 9:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope".
